"Armorial Stags"
Early 18th century Swiss armorial stained glass panel,
depicting two rampant Stag supporters standing either side of
the arms.
Above is a small scene of two courtiers blowing
long trumpet horns.
Hand-painted with silver stain, acid-etching and enamelling techniques
also used. Has had some lead strap restoration, but in great condition for
its age, also with hanging hooks and wire.
Measures:
12½" high x 9" wide -
