Guards"
A lovely Swiss commemorative stained glass panel.
Mostly these panels were made for the joining of two
families in marriage. Hand painted depicting two guards holding
Halberds, above is a vignette scene depicting a hunting chase. Painted
with silver stain and enamelling techniques. Inscribed and dated 1582, but
actually make c1890. Ideal to suspend from a window.

15¼" high x 10¼" wide -
