"Saint Cędmon" By James Powell - Whitefriars Glassworks Antique stained glass lancet window, c1920. Leaded and hand painted depicting St Cędmon, a Monk from Whitby, North Yorkshire, known for his Harp playing and for composing Music and Poetry. With Birds and flowers at his feet and a very decorative painted border. Background glass is a soft pastel obscure hand blown "Antique Streaky". A beautiful window with excellent quality of hand painting with glass and leaded in original condition. Can be easily mounted into a wall light box.
