"St Anne - Mother of Mary"

Decorative antique church stained glass window by Kempe
& Co. c1910. Leaded and hand painted depicting St Anne with her daughter Mary at her feet. With a gothic tracery top, the window has been inserted into a wooden frame which
can be used to hang the window or for use in a building. Super quality, no fading to hand painting and with lead and glass in excellent condition after restoration. The window
has the Kempe & Co wheat sheaf and small black tower makers mark.

Charles Kempe was the maker of Kempe windows before 1908,
after that date the firm was taken over by Walter Earnest Tower,
Kempes nephew, and was known as Kempe & Co. a small black
tower was inserted into the previously used wheat sheaf makers mark.
