Pair of Antique Stained Glass Panels
"Joseph & Europa"

Mid 19th century leaded and hand painted stained glass panels, from Barrow Hall, Barrow-on-Trent,
Derbyshire, England.
 

One depicting Joseph as Vizier of Egypt, (Prime Minister) second in command to the Egyptian Pharaoh. Richly dressed
 and in the background a camel, foliage and palms.

The other is of Europa, with the Greek God Zeus
disguise as the scared  bull.

Both panels have excellent qualily of hand painting with
strong bright colours, with glass and leaded in perfect condition. Brass loops are attached to the sides
so they can easily be suspended from a window.

Each Panel Measures:
26" high x 16¼"  -  23cm h x 19.5cm w
