"Medieval Knights" Attributed to William Wailes 1808 - 1881 Pair of tall English antique stained glass windows, c1850, attributed to William Wailes, known for his Medieval style stained glass and possibly from an Augustus Pugin design. Each is leaded and hand painted depicting Knights in the style of King Arthur's knights of the Round Table. Both windows have hundreds of hand painted glass pieces and with deep-cut acid etching, also with very intricate leading. Beautiful and excellent quality.
