Designed by George Parlby 1856 - 1944 Large antique Victorian stained glass window, designed by George Parlby and made by James Powell & Sons studio, London, c1900. Leaded and hand painted depicting Farmers harvesting Willow canes. Below is the phrase "Labor Omnia Vincit" - Work Conquers All. Taken for a poem written in support of Augustus Caesar's "Back to the land" policy, aimed at encouraging more Romans to become farmers.
