Antique arts & crafts stained glass panel, hand painted depicting a lady dressed in Grecian costume, holding a scroll and skull, a scroll behind her head is inscribed ‘Philosophia’ the Greek word for “love of wisdom” – “philos” (love, friendship) and “sophia” (wisdom, knowledge). Leaded with opalescent lime green glass. In excellent condition and in a decorative black ebonised frame.
