Late Victorian antique stained glass parlor window, leaded with hand painted glass depicting a central panel showing the female figure of Calliope, Greek goddess of Music, with four painted diamonds quarries of Frogs and Birds, hand turned bull’s-eye bullions and coloured glass. The central panel has been releaded and has a bonded hair-line crack just under Calliope’s lip, which as been restored and preserved according to the technical guidelines of the Corpus Vitrearum Medii Aevi. The rest of the window is in excellent condition. A lovely window and in original hardwood frame.
