Antique lancet stained glass window, c1845, leaded with coloured glass hand painted depicting two rampant Lions holding the royal armorial shield of Margaret Tudor, with quarries above depicting the letter ‘M’ &’R’ In excellent condition being releaded and restored.
Window Measures: 62½” high x 20½” wide – 159cm h x 52cm w
Thomas Willement (18 July 1786–10 March 1871) was stained glass artist to George IV and Queen Victoria, making heraldic stained glass for St George’s Chapel, Windsor amongst other places.
